Yoga
for the office worker is a unique program that uses therapeutic principles
to ease common physical ailments caused by sitting at a desk all day. Problems
such as lower back pain, neck and shoulder fatigue and carpal tunnel syndrome
will be addressed at this session. On top of learning simple and effective
yoga poses you will also learn breathing and meditation techniques to calm
your mind and help with mental focus. You will be amazed at how you feel
more physically comfortable and inwardly peaceful while at work.
This course can be presented at your work place as a one hour “learn at lunch” series.

Backbends are a great way to clear back aches and open your heart. Learn specific alignment principles that make backbends safe, effective and pain fee. In this session you will learn how to integrate the shoulders and align the hips so you get a deep opening in your back and heart.
Learn advanced techniques to refine your standing poses. These alignment principles will help you get into standing poses that were once difficult or painful. Learn how to set your feet, and align your legs and hips to find maximum opening. Once you learn these techniques take them into your regular classes and watch yourself progress to the next level of opening in your body.
